HOLIDAY TIME!

After such a long year at school I am very much relived to get a nice long break. However, weeks on weeks of being at home can get a tad boring (I'm not complaining though). In order to combat unproductivity, I have set myself a challenge: one short film (i.e. about 30 seconds long) a day every day of December up until Christmas and 2 10 minute films from the end of December until I go back to school in late January. Wish me luck!

SLEEP DEPRIVATION TIME!

Mum was vomiting everywhere last night at like 3 AM. Dad called the ambulance and I think they gave her some stuff (???) before leaving. Due to the loud noises I was so awake by the time the ambulance left at 3:45 that I couldn't get back to sleep.

STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT STUFF

"Music died 20 years ago" "Movies/T.V nowadays is bad". STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT THINGS OH MY GOD SHUT UP. Things come out that are good, some are even better than the old stuff. We live in an era with the lowest crime rates on record. An age were historically marginalised people recieve more rights than ever. We live in a time when more people than ever can make and distribute art to a wider audience than ever. Shut up and stop saying that things are bad. Yes, some things are if you just look at the mainstream of say, music. Stop being clouded by nostalgia. Give it a few years to marinate and the art coming out now will be praised and people will remember the 2020s fondly.
